Our beautiful little bookcase now has a home!  East Nashville’s Shelby Community Center now has its very own LoveBooks bookshelf, fully stocked in their homework room.  We are so excited to provide for this awesome after-school resource.

LoveBooks has additionally donated to an outstanding community effort called Corner to Corner in McFerrin Park (East Nashville).

If you haven’t heard of Corner to Corner, prepare to be inspired.  Founded by Tiffany and Will Acuff, it is a program that embodies the concept of loving your neighbor.  The Acuffs and the Corner to Corner volunteers live out their commitment to be invested into the youth in the McFerrin Park neighborhood.  Organizing and providing tutoring, mentoring, Bible studies…even welcoming neighborhood kids into their homes; this is where the rubber hits the road. Watch this short Corner to Corner video to learn more.

LoveBooks has donated a supply of books to the McFerrin Park Rec Center as well as to the Little Free Library in front of the Acuff’s home.
